T. Raja Singh also said in his statement that not only Aurangzeb’s tomb but all the symbols related to his name should be removed. He raised the question that when the name of the city was changed to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, why are boards like “Welcome to Aurangabad Airport” at the airport? He said that it is the demand of not only the Hindus of Maharashtra but the Hindus of the whole of India that every mark related to Aurangzeb should be erased.
